Starfish and Seahorses classes spent an exciting day at Beamish Open Air Museum. The sun shone brightly as they travelled on the open top trams to explore how different life was long ago. The children experienced a Victorian school lesson led by a very stern schoolmaster wielding his cane! No paper and pencils to write with but slates instead! No slouching, no talking, being neat and tidy all the time!
Both children and staff learnt a lot during this special day trip.
