The whole school took part in a series of activities to celebrate Science Day.
Each class was named after a famous scientist and the researched information about them.
Miss Jarvis and Mrs Pearson led investigations about changes of state by making toast and making chocolate lollies.
Mrs Mason and Mrs Speight showed the importance of recycling as the children enjoyed creating junk models.
Mrs Foster and Mrs Patrickson led a What’s Under Your Feet survey where the children counted and identified how many creatures were in a square of earth.
Everyone had a great day and learned a lot.
