Postponed from last week, due to the atrocious weather, Maths Fun Day finally took place in warm sunshine!
Each class moved round a series of maths based activities.
The measuring task was throwing a foam javelin and using either a trundle wheel or metre stick to measure the distance.
Addition skills were needed to add up points scored by throwing a beanbag in to a target.
A shape activity took place in Forest School where the children had to recreate 2D and 3D shapes using twigs and string.
The number activity was based on treasure hunt.
A positional activity needed trust in your partner as they guided each other blindfolded round a series of obstacles.
The ever popular parachute concluded the round of activities.
